About our founder

Awajimijana Otana

Awajimijana Otana is an award-winning Paediatric Audiologist dedicated to helping children hear and thrive. He trained at the University of Manchester, where he completed his MSc in Audiology and received the Lisa-Bayliss Award from the British Academy of Audiology as the best student in clinical training across the UK.

He has built extensive experience in paediatric hearing care through roles at leading NHS hospitals, including working as a Paediatric Audiologist at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and later as a Senior Paediatric Audiologist at a major London NHS hospital. His clinical expertise has been recognised nationally, particularly for his work on Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder, where he has presented at conferences and received awards from the British Academy of Audiology.

Alongside his clinical work, Awajimijana holds an MBA in Health from University College London, where he was awarded the prestigious Roche Scholarship by the global pharmaceutical company. This blend of clinical excellence and leadership training ensures families receive care that is both compassionate and informed by the latest best practices.
